We are really excited about this young buck! His Dam, Mocha Chip, Is not only a permanent champion doe, with an excellent appraisal score of EX91 EEEE, Mocha Chip has also produced 3 beautiful daughters from 3 different sires. Two of them are pictured here and the other is a promising dry yearling. We love the fact this doe can reproduce herself!! Mocha Chip is also a grand daughter of our great old buck, *B South Fork Class Act EX93, who was Premier Lamancha Sire at the 2007 ADGA National Show, the same show his dam Cayenne was National Grand Champion! On the sire's side ZigZag is a Kastdemur's L:andslide son, who is also the sire of our senior herd sire Avalanche. His dam is an outstanding doe from the High-Tor herd, which we have had the pleasure to see in person at several national shows and have always greatly admired. And in his own right, Zigzag is gorgeous! We think Sundowner will be a real asset to our breeding program and cant wait to see his first kid crop in the spring.

We are really pleased with our first Sundowner kids!! We of course got more bucks than doe kids, kind of typical with young bucks I think! But the kids are all so correct in type, and every doe kid has the most beautiful escutcheon with perfectly placed teats, they are all like peas in a pod! We are really excited about them and excited to see his first daughter fresh in the spring. The other kids we retained were later born and rather than be kidding till July we left them dry yearlings. Watch for these pretty girls at the shows next summer!!

Sundowners first daughters freshened this spring and we are so happy with them! Both have lovely, well attached udders high and wide in the rear with a smooth, extended fore. Avery is really exceptional we are so pleased with her. We are happy with what Sundowner is doing and look forward to seeing more daughters in the spring.
